The puff pastry and sausage rockets are a nice idea for a nice and different appetizer to be served on New Year’s Eve. The procedure is very simple and will allow you to serve something really delicious, super festive and above all auspicious for dinner on New Year’s Eve. So if you still have a little space on the menu tonight and you don’t know how to fill it, these puff pastry breed could really be the idea for you! This fun appetizer is my way to say goodbye to the end of 2019 and wish you a 2020 full of joy and serenity: *

  • Doses for 6 rockets:
  • 1 roll of rectangular puff pastry
  • 6 long sausages
  • milk for brushing
  • parmesan
  • 1 red pepper
(100 ml = 3.4 fluid oz. – 100 grams = 3.5 ounces – 1 liter = 34 fluid oz. – 1 kilogram = 2.205 pounds – 100C° 212F° – 180C° 356F°)

Method

How to make puff pastry and frankfurter rockets

First, cut the puff pastry into thin strips (1-2 cm).

Roll the strips around the frankfurters, adding 2 strips of puff pastry if necessary, then skewer the frankfurters with skewers, reaching halfway.
Place the frankfurters on the baking tray lined with parchment paper, brush them with milk and sprinkle with Parmesan, then cook for 20 minutes at 180 ° C in a preheated oven.

Once cooked, take the sausages out of the oven.
Wash the pepper and clean it, then make 12 triangles and skewer them with a toothpick and then skewer the other side of the toothpick on top of the frankfurters, as you can see in the photo.
