  • Ingredients for a 24 cm mold:
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 gr of sugar
  • 250 gr of 00 flour
  • 100 gr of butter
  • 1 organic orange
  • 50 ml of milk
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoons of icing sugar
  • juice of

Method

How to make orange pan

For the glaze:

Wash the orange well and blend it whole with all the peel until it is pureed.

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar until frothy.

Add the warm melted butter, pureed orange, milk and vanilla and mix well.

Add the flour and baking powder

Work until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured mold and bake in a preheated static oven at 180 ° for 40 minutes

Once cold prepare a glaze by mixing the icing sugar with the orange juice

Pour the icing on the orange pan, decorate with some candied orange peel and serve.
