Spicy meatballs

I prepared these spicy meatballs the other night and they were very appreciated. This recipe, with a slightly Middle Eastern flavor, is dedicated to all those who love spicy and decisive flavors. I am about to leave for Rimini, where I will spend the weekend. Before saying goodbye, always to stay on the subject of ethnic recipes, I leave you the recipe for these spicy meatballs.   • Ingredients for 4 people:
  • 450 gr of ground coffee
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper
  • 1/2 glass of breadcrumbs
  • 400 gr of peeled tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • seed oil
  • salt
  • coriander
(100 ml = 3.4 fluid oz. – 100 grams = 3.5 ounces – 1 liter = 34 fluid oz. – 1 kilogram = 2.205 pounds – 100C° 212F° – 180C° 356F°)

Method

How to make spicy meatballs

Put the minced meat in a bowl with the finely chopped spring onion, garlic, half the chili powder, cumin seeds, breadcrumbs, egg and a pinch of salt.

Mix all the ingredients well until a homogeneous mixture.

Between the moistened palms of your hands form small meatballs the size of a walnut. Heat the seed oil in a wok and fry the spicy meatballs on high heat for a few minutes.

Then lift the meatballs and keep them aside.

In a wok cook the peeled tomatoes with the remaining chilli and soy sauce.

Add the meatballs you had set aside and let them flavor in the sauce for a few minutes.

Serve the spicy meatballs with a sprinkling of fresh coriander.
