Today I give you the recipe for nut biscuits, simple but tasty shortbread biscuits enriched with this dried fruit that I love. The recipe is easy and fast enough, just prepare a quick dough, give it the shape of balls and enrich them with walnut kernels just before baking them. A bit like when you put the icing on the cake even if the nuts here radically change the flavor of the biscuits, making them particularly tasty!

  • Servings for 25 biscuits:
  • 110 gr of butter
  • 140 gr of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 200 gr of 00 flour
  • 100 gr of shelled walnuts
(100 ml = 3.4 fluid oz. – 100 grams = 3.5 ounces – 1 liter = 34 fluid oz. – 1 kilogram = 2.205 pounds – 100C° 212F° – 180C° 356F°)

Method

How to make nut biscuits

Start to work the butter, sugar, egg and honey.

Add the flour and start working again forming a compact dough.

From the dough obtained form many balls that you will place on a dripping pan lined with parchment paper.
Flatten their surface slightly and add a walnut kernel to each.

Bake at 180 ° C for 15 minutes.

Once they are baked, let them cool. Your nut biscuits are ready to be brought to the table.
