Witch eyes

Hello, let’s start this week with the last treat I prepared for Halloween, the witch’s eyes, the cute sweets covered in white chocolate and decorated as if they wanted to look like eyeballs, monstrous;) To prepare the witch’s eyes, I used Martha Stewart’s peanut butter bon bon as a base, some baking cakes that came to my rescue to dispose of the peanut butter that I had left from the biscuits of some time ago, but you can also choose another base, like truffles to be clear. Since they won’t have a party at Elisa’s school and that this year she seems to be all taken up by Halloween, from a trick or treat and from bright pumpkin, I really think that on Friday afternoon it’s up to me to organize a small party and choose to redo one of the recipes that I have already proposed. But what will you do for the occasion? I leave you with the recipe for Monday’s dessert and we’ll read later, a kiss to those who pass by here.

  • Ingredients for 20 sweets:
  • 100 gr of peanut butter
  • 50 gr of butter
  • 100 gr of icing sugar
  • 150 gr of white chocolate
  • 20 Smarties
  • food pens
(100 ml = 3.4 fluid oz. – 100 grams = 3.5 ounces – 1 liter = 34 fluid oz. – 1 kilogram = 2.205 pounds – 100C° 212F° – 180C° 356F°)
  • preparation: 15 min
  • cooking: 5 min
  • total: 20 min

Method

How to make witch’s eyes

Mix the peanut butter with the soft butter and the icing sugar.

Work until all the ingredients are mixed

Divide the dough into 20 pettezzi and form small balls, put on a plate lined with parchment paper and leave to rest in the freezer for about ten minutes.

Melt the white chocolate in a bain marie

Thread the balls with a toothpick and pass them in the melted chocolate.

Then place them gradually on a plate lined with parchment paper and add a smarties on the surface.

Once the covering chocolate has hardened, with the food pens, draw the pupil on the smarties and the veins directly on the chocolate layer

Serve your witch eyes for the halloween party
