Bread Pizza

Bread pizza is a decidedly original idea to serve a different appetizer than usual. Or rather: the appearance will be that of a normal pizza, but the base is not really prepared with pizza dough at all, but literally with bread and water! In addition you can really season it as you want, as if it were a real pizza base! Brilliant, right? So if you want something delicious but you don’t have time to let the dough rise, or maybe you have old bread to consume and you don’t know what to do with it, or you just tried it and you adored it and you don’t see the time to do it again, this is the recipe for you!

  • Doses for 4 people:

How to make bread pizza

First cut the old bread into cubes and pour it into a bowl with egg, salt, oil and warm water, then mix well (if the bread is very old it could serve you a little more water, if it is fresher put less) .
It should be a soft but firm compound.

Grease a mold with oil and spread the bread mixture on the bottom, leveling it well with your hands.
Season with tomato sauce, salt and oil and cook for 15 minutes at 200 ° C in a preheated oven.

Remove from the oven, season with diced mozzarella (if it is very fresh, squeeze it a little before using it), chopped ham and fresh oregano (or basil) and cook again for 5-10 minutes, so that the cheese melts well .

The bread pizza is ready, you just have to serve it.
